This book has several of my favorite elements, romance, steampunk, fae folk and a tad bit of the Bible thrown in. And it works! Great writing. Hoping this is only the first in a series. Though it ended in a good place it is left open for so much more. I enjoyed it. Great for teens and up. Not corny or cheesy in it’s use of the Bible. Just in simple terms in simple language as the beliefs of the people during the times. Great job. I give the book 5 stars.

Book Review for “How Sweet It Is” – Christian Romance
Bonnie Blythe has written a sweet Christian romance. It isn’t preachy and the love story is tender and fun. You can’t go wrong with chocolate and love. The theme is a damsel in distress and a hunky ex-surfer who have a chance meeting while in Europe. I give it 4 stars. A great weekend book. This book is suitable for teens and up due to it’s clean content.
Book Review for “Moon Dwellers” YA Dystopian
The Moon Dwellers is a great story of friendship during hard times and also about the importance of family and sacrifice. I loved the humor between the friends and the strong female lead character. I thought it was even better when I found out that the character shares her name with the author’s wife. I will continue on with the series when time is available. A very good author with an understanding into the minds of young people. I give the book 4 stars.
Book Review for “An Accident of Birth”
I was given a copy of “An Accident of Birth” by the author in exchange for an honest review. I loved the story line of this book. A great Dystopian theme. I think I would have enjoyed it more if the characters had been “fleshed out” a bit, especially some of the secondary characters. Sometimes adding more length to the book is ok. More background story may have helped as well. I would read more of this author. This is his first published work and I am sure that his story telling talents will only get better. Due to a rape scene I don’t recommend for under the age of 17. I give this book 3 stars.
